Strathmill Distillery was established in 1891 in a converted grain mill. The Pied Wagtail is a familiar sight in the distillery yard and on the banks of the nearby River Isla, which provides water for cooling. A spring on site provides processing water. The Strathmill 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a smooth, easy-drinking all round whisky with a good balance of sweet and dry notes and a medium to long finish.
