Grapes for the Storm 'Ignis' Pinot Noir are sourced from a northern slope in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Organically farmed, the vineyard is cluttered with round pebbles on the soil surface with underlying decomposed granite. Ignis benefits from constant air flow and reduced disease pressure. At the winery the Storm 'Ignis' Pinot Noir is fermented with 20% whole bunches and matured in used wood for 11 months. The palate is medium-bodied, lightly spiced and with fine acidity.
