The Quinta dos Murças Assobio Red wine is a blend of three popular local red grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. The vineyards for this wine are to be found at the edge of Quinta dos Murças’ boundaries, where there is a valley formed by steep slopes. Here, it is primarily north-facing and more protected from the sun and the plots planted at higher altitudes boast unique characteristics. 10% of the blend is aged in oak for six months resulting in a wine that has a lively and intense aroma, dominated by red fruits.
