This Pinot Noir from Pyramid Valley is a blend of fruit from four vineyards in North Canterbury. At the winery the wine was aged in French barrels, 20% new for 12 months before settling in stainless steel on light less for a further 6 months and then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep crimson in colour this North Canterbury Pinot Noir displays aromas of plum and blue fruits with lifted floral spicy notes. Full bodied on the palate with ripe rich fruits, mouth filling texture and round plush tannins giving the wine weight and power that lingers on the palate with a savoury, moreish finish.
