Grapes for the Mullineux Syrah come from a number of sustainably farmed vineyard parcels located in different parts of the Swartland. Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (15% new) the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. This perfumed Syrah has notes of spicy citrus rind, refined black fruit, violets and lilies. The palate is elegant and restrained yet with good body and a silky texture balanced by a fresh, natural acidity.
