The Monte Zovo Lugana Riserva Le Civaie 'Terralbe' is a white wine from the Lugana DOC, a wine region greatly influenced by Lake Garda, whose warm breezes contribute to an ideal climate and the local white grape variety, Turbiana, flourishes in this microclimate. At the winery, the Turbiana grapes were part fermented in stainless-steel and part-fermentated in oak barriques. The wine was aged on its fine lees for 18 months in barriques, followed by six months in stainless steel and a further six months bottle ageing prior to release. The result is a richly textured white wine, with floral, citrus notes and a hint of white pepper through to a complex palate of toasty, vanilla and mineral notes and an enveloping, long finish.
