Le Cèdre is an organic Malbec red wine from the Cahors AOC and is the flagship cuvée of Château du Cèdre. The wine undergoes minimal intervention and no winemaking additives are used except for low levels of sulphites before bottling. Aged for 24 months in large oak casks (57hl) and barrels (500 litres) Le Cèdre displays aromas of dark cherries, boysenberries and herbs with a hint of white pepper. The palate combines both power and elegance with great tannic structure. Dense and delicious, this Malbec is impressively balanced, velvety and long.
