The Luvignac Picpoul de Pinet St Clair is a white wine made from 100% Piquepoul Blanc grapes, a very popular, traditional local variety that is grown on vineyards overlooking the Etang de Thau lagoon and the Mediterranean sea. Vibrant pale yellow in colour the nose offers a burst of aromatic complexity with notes of citrus fruit (grapefruit, lemon and lime), floral notes (white flowers, linden leaves, hawthorn blossom) alongside mineral notes and a delicate touch of saltiness. The palate is fresh and lively with distinct notes of citrus fruit (lemon and lemongrass) that leads on to a minerally finish followed by delicate sea-water notes.
